Yung Koprowski, PE (AZ #52513), PTOE (#3112), RSP (#208) serves Y2K as the Principal and founder of the firm and leads our traffic and transportation group. Her professional experience has focused specifically in bicycle and pedestrian facility design, safety, intelligent transportation systems, and traffic operations. She has actively managed, participated, and successfully completed several multimodal and safety studies, plans, and design for Arizona’s MPOs, counties, cities, and towns. She has a deep understanding of traffic operations, crash data, analysis, and visualization for use in consensus building, decision-making, and reporting for federal regulations. She collaborates with stakeholders to balance challenges and opportunities to develop context sensitive and impactful safety solutions.

When she’s not busy contributing to Y2K’s growth, her passion is spending time with family – her husband, and two children, and joining in all of their accomplishments.

Yung is very involved in the local community, serving as the president for the Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals organization as well as devoting time providing inspiration and advice to future generations through presentations to the ASU and NAU Civil Engineering Senior Design class and high school girls in the Transportation YOU program.
