Avondale ITS Corridor Designs

project OVERVIEW

This project was designed to extend fiber optic connectivity along Avondale Boulevard, 107th Avenue, Indian School Road, and Dysart Road, linking the City Hall’s fiber backbone to various city fire stations, traffic signals, and the new Alamar residential development south of City Hall. Key project challenges included securing approval from SRP Irrigation to cross under multiple irrigation pipelines and coordinating with Union Pacific Railroad to cross existing tracks at Avondale Boulevard and Buckeye Road. Overcoming these obstacles ensured successful integration of critical infrastructure, enhancing connectivity and supporting the city’s expanding digital network.
