The purpose of this project was to prepare a traffic circulation study for the study area bordered by Warner Road to the north, Power Road to the east, Loop 202 to the south, and 180th Street to the west. The study area is currently comprised of several parcels with different ownership. The traffic circulation study will address the Town of Gilbert’s need to provide a plan that insures access for each parcel as development occurs, establishes roadway classification, and identifies locations for parcel access, turning lanes and traffic control. This plan was based on land use assumptions obtained from the Town of Gilbert’s General Plan and ownership/parcel records from the Maricopa County Assessor. The Town of Gilbert will utilize the traffic circulation study and access plan to assist in planning as development occurs within the study area.
