Rae’s background is focused on providing safe and equitable mobility for all roadway users, with a strong emphasis on transportation safety and the multimodal environment. Rae brings extensive experience in traffic safety and operations analyses, as well as in designing transportation projects such as bicycle and pedestrian facilities, traffic signal systems, and signing and pavement markings. She excels at delivering innovative solutions and has contributed to numerous successful citywide safety analyses, corridor planning studies, and implementation projects.

Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona, Rae earned her degree in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University. In 2020, Rae played a key role in establishing Y2K’s Denver office. She now focuses on supporting the local team, identifying new opportunities, and leading and contributing to impactful projects across the region.

Through her professional role and her involvement with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) as the immediate past president of the Colorado/Wyoming Section, Rae values building connections within the industry to better understand and address evolving transportation challenges. Approachable and forward-thinking, Rae is driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact in the communities where she lives, works, and plays.

Rae enjoys spending time outside with her husband Daniel and their two children. She is an enthusiastic hiker, runner, camper, kayaker, hunter and all things outdoors.
